This page lists calls for prayer requested by and for the members and friends of Emmanuel. Prayer is a powerful force in the lives of Christians, as those who have been touched by it remind us. Prayer requests listed below come from the weekly worship bulletin, plus other requests received by Pastor Clark and Pastor Moore. All members and friends of Emmanuel are encouraged to check this page often, and to remember those listed here in your daily devotions. If you have a need for prayer you would like to see presented here for the congregation to act on, please contact Pastor Clark or Pastor Moore by email, in person or by telephone through the church office at (757) 340-3866.

Let Pastor Clark and Pastor Moore know if their presence or assistance is needed! If anyone is going into the hospital or needs Pastor Clark or Pastor Moore for any other reason, do not hesitate to give them a call. They are more than happy to assist in any way possible, but they need to know from a family member or friend what is happening and that their presence is desired.

Prayer of the Month. Heavenly Father, whether or not we realize it, you are with us every moment of every day. You see us when we are kind and helpful and when we're not. Your son Jesus Christ suffered and died for our sins so that we may be saved and granted eternal life. Help us to display through our actions that we are truly blessed to be your people and tell others of the joy it brings to us. In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
